2x—3y=8 ,4x—5y=9 by substitution method

Hello Mate...

Here is your solution of this question:-

2x-3y=8

2x=3y+8

x=(3y+8)/2---------------(1)

4x-5y=9------------------(2)

Putting'x' from equation (1) in equation (2):-

[4(3y+8)/2]-5y=9

2(3y+8)-5y=9

6y-5y+16=9

y=9-16

y=(-7)

2x=3y+8

2x=3(-7)+8

2x=8-21

x =  \frac{ - 13}{2}
