Let  2x -3y = 9 ---- (i)

and 2x + y = 13​ ------(ii)

So, Substract equation (i) from (ii)

             2x + y = 13​

        -    2x -3y = 9

             0   +4y = 4

4y= 4

y= 4/4

y = 1

now, substituting this value of y in equation (ii)

2x +y = 13

2x + 1 = 13

2x = 13 - 1

2x = 12

x = 12/2

x = 6

So, the solution of the equation is (x=6,y=1)
