AnsWer :

  • x = 6.
  • y = 1.

SolutioN :

We have, Pair of Linear Equation,

  \tt \dagger \: \: \: \: \: 2x - 3y = 9. \: \: \: \: \: - (1)

  \tt \dagger \: \: \: \: \: 6x + 3y = 39. \: \: \: \: \: - (2)

Now, Adding Equation ( 1 ) & ( 2 ) We get.

2x - 3y = 9.

6x + 3y = 39.

__________

8x = 48.

__________

 \tt : \implies 8x = 48.

 \tt : \implies x = \dfrac{ 48}{8}.

 \tt : \implies x =6.

Now, Putting the value of X in Equation ( 1 ) We get.

 \tt : \implies 2x - 3y = 9.

 \tt : \implies 2(6) - 3y = 9.

 \tt : \implies 12 - 3y = 9.

 \tt : \implies - 3y = 9 - 12.

 \tt : \implies - 3y = - 3.

 \tt : \implies y = 1.

Therefore, the value of x = 6 and y = 1.
