The value of x in the equation \frac{2x-4}{3x+2} =\frac{-2}{3}  is \frac{2}{3}.

Given,

An equation consisting of a variable x-   \frac{2x-4}{3x+2} =\frac{-2}{3} .

To Find,

The value of x.

Solution,

We can solve this mathematical problem by using the following process.

The method of finding the value of x in the given equation is as follows –

We have to simplify the equation.

\frac{2x-4}{3x+2} =\frac{-2}{3}

3 *(2x-4)= (-2) *(3x+2)

6x-12=-6x-4

⇒  6x+6x=12-4=8

⇒  12x=8

⇒  x= \frac{8}{12}=\frac{2}{3}

Hence, the value of x in the given equation is \frac{2}{3} .
