2x+4/3x+6=4

2x+4=4×(3x+6)

2x+4= 12x+24

12x-2x=4-24

10x=-20

x=-20/10

x=-2

Hope this helps you ;)

 \frac{2x + 4}{3x + 6}  = 4

on \: cross \: multiplying

4(3x + 6) = 2x + 4

12x + 24 = 2x + 4

12x - 2x = 4 - 24

10x =  - 20

 x =  \frac{ - 20}{10}

 x =  - 2

BUT,

If u solve this by mathematical method then the ans will come out x= -2. But it is not a correct answer because on x= -2 , the LHS of the given euation is having form of (0/0) which is indeterminate form. Hence No Solution exist for this equation.
