ANSWER = 7/3

 \sf 2x +  \frac{5}{3}  =  \frac{26}{3}  -  \frac{x}{1}  \\

 \sf \implies \: 2x  +  \frac{x}{1}  =  \frac{26}{3}  -  \frac{5}{3}  \\

 \sf \implies \: 2x + x =  \frac{21}{3}  \\

 \sf \implies \: 3x = 7

 \sf \implies \: x =  \frac{7}{3}  \\

  • (6x + 5 )/ 3 = (26 - 3x) / 3

  • 6x +5 = 26 - 3x

  • 6x + 3x = 26 - 5

  • 9x = 21

  • x = 21 / 9

  • x = 7 / 3
