Step-by-step explanation:

here the equ is,

2x + 5/3 = 3x - 10

bring 3 to RHS

⇒ 2x + 5 = 3( 3x - 10)

⇒ 2x + 5 = 9x -30

bring 9x to LHS and 5 to RHS

⇒ 2x - 9x = -30 - 5

⇒ - 7x = - 35

the negative sign in both the sides gets cancelled

⇒ 7x = 35

move 7 to RHS

⇒ x = 35/7

∴ x = 5

the value of x is equal to five
