2x - 5 = 3(x - 5)

2x - 5 = 3x - 15

2x - 3x = - 15 + 5

- x = - 10

x = 10

Answer:

2x -5=(x-5)

\\ \longmapsto 2x - 5 = 3x - 15.

Transpose x terms on one side, we get

\\ \longmapsto3x -2x=-5+15

\\ \longmapsto = -5 + 15

therefore, value of x is 10.
