Heya!!

2x+5/3x+4 = 3

By cross multiplication method,

2x + 5 = 3(3x+4)

=) 2x + 5 = 9x + 12

=) 2x - 9x = 12 - 5

=) -7x = 7

=) x = 7/-7

=) x = -1

Hence, the val of x is -1

Hope it helps uh

Here is your answer

 \frac{2x + 5}{3x + 4} = 3 \\ 2x + 5 = 3(3x + 4) \\ 2x + 5 = 9x + 12 \\ 2x - 9x = 12 - 5 \\ - 7x = 7 \\ x = \frac{ - 7}{7} \\ x = - 1
Hope it helps you
