As We need to find the value of x ,we need to have x alone at either LHS or R HS
- {2x+5x= 7x}
- Therefore 7x =70
- We need to have x alone in the LHS ,this is possible by dividing both sides of the entire equation by 7.since dividing by 7 in the entire equation will not make any change!
- Therefore 7x/7 = 70/7
- Therefore x = 70/7 =10
- The ans is x = 10 will satisfy the equation 2x + 5x = 70.

- 2x + 5x = 70
- taking x as common on LHS
- x( 2+5 ) = 70
- 7x = 70
- x = 70 / 7
- x= 10
