→ 2x + 5y = 12 ...........(1)

→ 4x + 3y = -4 ............(2)

From equation 1

2x = 12 - 5y

→ x = (12 - 5y) / 2

Put Value of x in equation 2

4(12 - 5y)/2 + 3y = -4

2(12 - 5y) + 3y = -4

24 - 10y + 3y = -4

Taking y term to L.H.S

- 10y + 3y = -4 - 24

-7y = - 28

7y = 28

y = 28/7

y = 4

\huge{\bf{\blue{\boxed{y = 4}}}}

Put Value of y in equation 2

4x + 3(4) = -4

4x + 12 = -4

4x = - 4 - 12

4x = -16

x = -16/4

x = -4

\huge{\bf{\blue{\boxed{x = -4}}}}
