(2x+5y)² - 40xy = (2x-5y)verify (a+b)² - 4ab = (a-b)²...

(2x+5y)² - 40xy = (2x-5y)

verify (a+b)² - 4ab = (a-b)²

for explanation....

first you solve the first thing which is inside the bracket as we have an identity for it of

(a+b)² = +2ab+

than the result we got is

4x²+20xy+25² (eqⁿ 1)

the last number we jave is -40xy (eqⁿ 2)

we have to subtract eqⁿ 2 from eqⁿ 1.

as 20xy is the only number Which have x and y both as -40xy have so we will Subtract 20xy from -40xy.

as they both have different sign so eventually we got 20xy since 40xy is greater so the result will also be -ve

now we got our required answer.

4x²-20xy+25y²
