2x(5) + 5y(5) = 27(5) = 10x + 25y = 135 ----(1)

5x(2) + 2y(2) = 15(2) = 10x + 4y = 30 -----(2)

By subtracting both the eqn (1) & (2) , we get

10x + 25y = 135

- 10x - 4y = - 30

21y = 105

=> Y = 105 /21 = 5

Putting the value of y in eqn (ii) , we get

10x + 4(5) = 30

=> 10x + 20 = 30

=> 10x = 30 - 20 = 10 => X = 10/10 = 1

Hence , the value of X & Y is 1 & 5
