Acc to the question,


we have to calculate the sum of (2x) and (2x - 3)


The addition is pretty simple.


Just like we can add oranges to oranges and apples to apples. Similarly, we can add x variable to another x variable but not with any constant.


Therefore (2x) + (2x - 3) = 4x - 3(Ans)


You can see here that I've added 2x to only 2x but not with 3, beacuse 3 is a constant.


Hence after adding (2x) and (2x - 3) we get 4x - 3.
