2x square-8x+6 factorise using splitting the midterm

here is your answer

2x^2 -8x +6

we need two numbers whise product is 12 and when we add or subtract them we get 8

so those numbers are -6 & -2

2x^2 -6x -2x +6

2x( x -3)-2 ( x -3)

( 2x-2 ) ( x-3 )
