Given:

2x² - 2√2x + 1 = 0

To Find:

value of x

Solution:

we know,

the quadratic formula

x = -b ± (√b² - 4ac ) / 2a

here we have,

a = 2

b = -2√2

c = 1

putting in the formula we get

x = 2√2 ± ( \sqrt{(-2\sqrt{2}) ^{2}  - 4 * 2 *2 } ) / 2* 2

x = 2√2 ± (\sqrt{8-8} ) / 4

x = 2√2 / 4

x = √2 / 2

x = 1 /√2

So, the value of x =  1 /√2
