Hi hello ✌️

Hope you're fine

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Your explanation:

\frac{2x}{x-7} = \frac{4}{5}

2x = \frac{4x-28}{5}

2x = \frac{4x}{5} - \frac{28}{5}

2x - \frac{4x}{5} = \frac{-28}{5}

\frac{10x-4x}{5} = \frac{-28}{5}

**5 is the denominator on both sides so both will cancel each other

6x = -28

x = -28/6 = -4.6666666667

Hope this helps ✌️

hey mate good evening,

your question:- 2x/x-7 = 4/5

let's slove ur equation step by step:-

step 1 :- cross multiplication.

2x/x-7 = 4/5

= 2x*5 = 4* (x-7)

10x = 4x - 28

step 2:- subtract 4x from both sides.

10x -4x = 4x -28 -4x

6x = -28

step 3:- divide both sides by 6

6x/6 = -28 /6
