put it on 3x-4y=18

=3(1-Y/2) - 4Y = 18

=3-3Y/2 = 18+4Y

=3-3Y= 36 +8Y

=-33=11Y

=Y=-3..................................(2)

PUT Y=-3 ON (1)

HENCE,

                 X=1-(-3)/2

                =X=4/2

                =X=2
