Answer:

x=2 , y=6.

Step-by-step explanation:

2x+y=10 ...(1)

6x-y=6   ...(2)

Adding (1) and (2) ;

8x=16

∴ x=2.

Substituting value of x in (2),

12-y=6

∴ y=6.

Answer:

2x+y = 10

y = 10-2x ------ eq.1

y/2 - 3x = -3 -----eq.2

Put the value of y in eq.2

10-2x/2 - 3x = -3

10/2 - 2x/2 - 3x = -3

5 - x - 3x = -3

-4x = -3 - 5

4x = 8

x = 2

NOW x is 2 so put its value in eq. 1 .

y = 10 - 2×2

y = 10 - 4

y = 6

HENCE x IS 2 AND y IS EQUAL TO 6.

I HOPE ITS HELP FULL.
