Given :

2x+y=11 -->Equation 1

4x-3y=11 -->Equation 2

Multiplying Equation 1 by 2 to get the same coefficient for x.

We get,

4x+2y=22--> Equation 3

Solving 3 and 2 Equations:

4x+2y=22

4x-3y=11(-)

5y=11

-----------

y=11/5

Substituting y in 1:

--------------

2x+y=11

2x+11/5=11

10x+11=55

10x=44

x=44/10

x=22/5

Hence, x=22/5 and y=11/5
