2x+y=-11,-x-5y+11
I need to solve this using the substitution method but I'm still not very good at it. any help is appreciated

2x+y =-11....eq1
-x-5y+11=0
-x-5y=-11
-x=-11+5y
x=11-5y... eq 2
put thes e value of x from eq 2 to eq 1
2(11-5y)+y=-11
22-10y+y=-11
-9y=-11-22
-9y=-33
y=11/3
put the value of y in eq 2
x=11-5y
x=11-55/3
x=33-55/3
x=-22/3
