Since it is a rectangle opposites sides are equAL

2x - y -18 = 3y

2x - 4y = 18 (equation 1)

2x + 6 = x - 2y + 9

x + 2y = 3 ( equation 2)

Now multiply equation 2 with 2 and substract it from equation (1)

- 8y = 18 -6

y = -3/2

by substituting the value of y in equation 2,

x + 2 (-3/2) = 3

X = 6

Length(L) = 2x - y - 18 = 2*6 + 3/2 - 18 = 12 +1.5 - 18 - 4.5 = 4.5

breadth (B) = 2x + 6 = 2 *6 + 6 = 18

Perimeter = 2 (1 + b ) = 2 (4.5+ 18) = 45

Area = 1 * b = 4.5 * 18 = 81
