To Prove:

Solving equation using Cramer's rule.

Solution:

2x + y = 19..(i)

2x - 3y = -3..(ii)

D = |2  1|   = (2× -3)-(2×1)= -6-2

      |2  -3| = -8

D = -8

Dx = |1   19|  = (-3×1)-(19×-3)

       |2    -3| = -54

Dx = -54

Dy = |2   19| = (2× -3)-(3×19) = -6-38

       |2    -3| = -44

Dy = -44

 x = Dx/D                           y = Dy/D

    = -54/-8                            = -44/-8

   x = 27/4                           y = 11/2

Therefore, (x, y) = [27/4, 11/2]
