first simplify the 1st term of the operation, the whole square term.

(x + y) ^{2}  = x {}^{2}  + y {}^{2}  + 2xy

4x {}^{2}  + y {}^{2}  - 4xy

now the second term.

10x-5y

now put them all together with the according changes in the symbol.

4x {}^{2}  +  y}^{2}  - 4xy + 10x - 5y - 300 = 0

then simplify.
