Here is your answer,

2x -y = 2______ eq.1
3x + 2y = 17 ______ eq.2

Multiplying equation 1 by 2,
4x-2y=4

Solving both the equations by elimination method,

4x-2y=4
3x+2y=17
_______
7x = 21
x = 21/7
X = 3

Substitute the value of x in equation 1,

2x-y=4
2x3-y=2
-y=2-6
-y=-4
y=4
