3x+y=7..........(ii)

now,add equation (i) and (ii) we get

2x+3x=3+7

5x=10

x=10/5=2 so, x=2

put x=2 in equation (i)

2×2-y=3

4-y=3

y=4-3=1 so,y=1

so we get x=2 and y=1
