2x+y = 35---------->(i)
3x+4y = 65-------->(ii)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
USING SUBSTITUTION METHOD :
From equation (i) we get
2x+y= 35
x= 35-y/2--------->(iii)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Putting x= 35-y/2 in equation (ii)
3x+4y= 65
3(35-y/2)+4y=65
105 - 3y+8y = 130
5y = 130 -105
y = 25/5
y = 5...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Putting y = 5 in equation (iii)
x = 35-y/2
x = 35-5/2
x = 30/2
x = 15..
SO ,x = 15 & y = 5.
