2x + y - 3z÷y+3x = x/2y
1. If find the value of z when x = 1 and y = 4.

Answer:

2x+y-3z÷y+3x=x÷2y

2*1+4-3z+3*1=1÷2*4

2+4-3z+3=1÷8

9-3z=1÷8

8(9-3z)=1

72-24z=1

24z=72-1

24z=71

z=71/24
