Solution:-
We have
=> 2x - y = 4 ....(i)eq
=> 5x + 3y = 2 ......(ii)eq
Now using substitution method so we take (i)eq
=> 2x - y = 4
=> - y = 4 - 2x
=> y = 2x - 4 ......(iii)eq
Now put the value of y on (ii)eq
=> 5x + 3(2x - 4) = 2
=> 5x + 6x - 12 = 2
=> 11x = 12 + 2
=> 11x = 14
=> x = 14/11
Now put the value of x on (iii)eq
=> y = 2x - 4
=> y = 2× 14/11 - 4
=> y = 28/11 - 4
=> y = (28 - 44)/11
=> y = -16/11
So Value of x = 14/11 and y = -16/11
