Answer:

2x+y=5

3x-y=5

adding both

5x=10

x=2

now putting it in eq-1

2x+y=5

4+y=5

y=1

Adding both equations ....

2x+y = 5

+3x-y = 5

equals to

5x = 10

x = 10/5 = 2

then

y = 5-2x (from eq 1)

y = 5-2×2 = 1

then

x= 2 and y = 1 answer...
