As it is linear equation in two variable so x and y will have infinite values....

Lets assume x = 2 then y will be :

(2 × 2 )- y = 5

4 - y = 5

y = 9

let's assume x = 3 then y will be :

( 2 × 3 ) - y = 5

6 - y = 5

y = 11

Let's assume y = 1 then x will be :

( 2 . x ) - 1 = 5

2x = 5 + 1

x = 6 / 2

x = 3

Similarly you can calculate infinite values of x and y
