                  2x+y = 6           ..........Eqn 1

                  2x-y = 2            .........Eqn 2

by elimination method ,if we add both the equations , y in both equation gets eliminated as they have opposite signs

so by adding , our equation becomes

2x+2x = 6+2

therefore , 4x = 8

                 x = 2

and by puting the value of x in first equation ,

2x+y = 6

2×2 + y = 6

y = 6-4 = 2
