==================

From equation 1

2x + Y = 7

Y = 7 - 2x ( Equation 3 )

Substuting 3 in 2 , we get

4x - 3 ( 7 - 2x ) + 1

4x - 21 - 6 + 1

10x - 20

x \:  =  \:  \frac{20}{10}  =  \: 2  \: ( \: by \: divison \: )
X = 2 -- ( Equation 4 )

Substuting 3 in 4

Y = 7 - 2x

Y = 7 - 2 ( 2 )

Y = 7 - 4 = 3

Hence , Y = 3 , X = 2
