Using substitution method

2x+y= 8 ( mark this 1)

3y=3+4x (mark this 2)

In 1 write y in terms of x, by transposing everything other than y to RHS.

2x+y=8

y=8-2x

Now put this value of y in 2 ,

3y= 3+4x

3(8-2x) = 3+4x

24-6x = 3+4x

24-3 = 4x+6x

21 = 10x

x= 21/10

now we know x= 21/10 put this value of x in 1,to get value of y

2x+y=8

2(21/10) +y =8

4.2 + y = 8

y= 8-4.2

=3.8

Hence value of x = 2.1, y = 3.8
