Explanation:

We Will Solve Both Pair Of Equation

First Pair

2X + Y = 9 ...Eq1

X - Y = 7 ...Eq2

By Using Elimination Method

Adding Eq 1 and 2

2X + Y + X - Y = 9 + 7

3X = 16

X = 16/3

Putting Value of X in Eq 2

16/3 - Y = 7

Y = 16/3 - 7 = (16 -21)/3 = -5/3

Therefore Value of

X = 16/3 &. Y = -5/3

For Second Pair Of Equation

3X - Y = 11 ...Eq1

X - Y = 7 ...Eq2

By Elimination Method

Subtract Equation 2 from 1

3X - Y - X + Y = 11 - 7

2X = 4

X = 2

Putting Value of X in Equation 2

2 - Y = 7

Y = -5

Therefore Value of

X = 2 & Y = -5
