First we multiply 2*42 and prime factorise it so that we could get 20

we get 84 and it's factors are:

1 × 84 = 84, 2 × 42 = 84, 3 × 28 = 84, 4 × 21 = 84, 6 × 14 = 84, 7 × 12 = 84

where adding 6 and 14 we get 20 so we can say:

2x²+(6x+14x)+42

and after getting common of term I & II and II & IV respectively we get:

2x(x+3) +14(x+3)

and now taking 2x and + 14 as eq. 1 and x and +3 eq. 3

(2x+14)(x+3)
