Given :  2x²-3

To find : derivatives

Solution:

Let say  f(x)   = 2x²-3

f'(x)  = 1st Derivative

f'(x)    = d(2x²-3)/dx

=> f'(x)    =  d(2x²)/dx  -  d(3)/dx

=>  f'(x)    =  2d(x²)/dx  -  d(3)/dx

Differentiation  of constant = 0

Differentiation  of  xⁿ  = nxⁿ⁻¹

=>  f'(x)    =  2(2x)  - 0

=>  f'(x) = 4x

2nd derivative   f''(x)

f''(x)  = d(4x)/dx

=> f''(x)  = 4 dx/dx

=> f''(x)  = 4

3rd derivative  f'''(x)

f'''(x) = d(4)/dx

=> f'''(x)  = 0

1st derivative = 4x

2nd derivative = 4

3rd derivative  = 0
