f(x) =  > 2x - 3  = 0\\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: =  >  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: x =  \frac{3}{2}  = 1.5

Now,

{ \huge{ p(x )= {2x}^{2}  + 3x + 5 }}\\ \\{ \large{p (1.5) =  {2(1.5)}^{2}  + 3(1.5) + 5}}  \\ \\   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \:   \: \: { \large{= 2(2.25) + 4.5 + 5 }}\\  \\ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \: \:    \:  \: { \large{= 4.5 + 4.5 + 5 = 14}}
