divide the equation by the coefficient of x^2

 {x}^{2} - 2x + \frac{3}{2} = 0 \\ {x}^{2} - 2x = - \frac{3}{2} \\ add \: {1}^{2} on \: both \: side \\ {x}^{2} - 2x + 1 = \frac{3}{2} + 1 \\ {(x - 1)}^{2} = \frac{5}{2} \\ x - 1 = \sqrt{ \frac{5}{2} } \\ x = \sqrt{ \frac{5}{2} } + 1

sam7428: but my values are -1/2 And -3/2
sam7428: plz tell me fast
kartik2507: on simplification of root 5/2 you get 1.5
kartik2507: -1.5+1=0.5 or -1/2
kartik2507: +1.5 +1 = 2.5 or 3/2
