Here the given Quadratic equation is

2x²– √5x + 1 = 0

Since it is quadratic equation

So it has two roots

Now Discriminant of the equation

= D

= b²– 4ac

= ( √5) ²– 4 × 2 × 1

= 5 - 8

= - 3 < 0

Hence the two roots are imaginary

Thus it has no real roots
