Question given:

2x² - 5x +2 = 0

2x² -4x -x +2=0

2x( x-2) -1(x-2) =0

(x-2) (2x -1) =0

then two zeros are:

x = 2

and

x = 1/2

Answer:

 \bf\ x = 2 \: and \: x =  \frac{1}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

 \bf\red{ \mapsto:   {2x}^{2}  - 5x + 2 = 0} \\  \\  \bf\red{ \implies:   {2x}^{2}  - (4x + x) + 2 = 0} \\  \\  \bf\red{ \implies:  {2x}^{2}  - 4x - x + 2 = 0 } \\  \\  \bf\red{ \implies: 2x(x - 2 )- 1(x - 2) = 0 }\\  \\  \boxed{\red{ \implies: (2x - 1)(x - 2)  = 0}} \\  \\  \bf\ 2x - 1 = 0 \\  \bf\red{ \implies: x =  \frac{1}{2}  } \\  \\  \bf\ x - 2 = 0 \\  \\  \bf\red{ \implies: x = 2 }
