Hi Mate !!

Given equation :-p(x)=2x³ - 2ax² - 6x + 6a

x - a is factor of p ( x )

x - a = 0

x = a

When we put the value of x as a in p ( x ) we get Zero as resultant.

2x³ - 2ax² - 6x + 6a

2a³ - 2a × a² - 6a + 6a

2a³ - 2a³ - 6a + 6a

= 0

Hence verified that p ( x ) is the multiple of x - a
