Solution:

 

                           x - 1            

       2x²-3x+5​  _|   2x³-5x²+8x-5  |_

                               2x³-3x²+5x

                                    -2x² + 3x - 5

                                    -2x² + 3x - 5

( 2x³-5x²+8x-5 ) ÷  ( 2x²-3x+5​ )  = x -1
