Answer:

according to question :-

2x^2 + x - 6 = 0

2x^2 + 4x - 3x - 6 = 0

2x (x+2) -3(x+2) = 0

(2x-3) (x+2) = 0

now if

2x-3 = 0

then 2x = 3

x = 3/2

and if

x+2 = 0

then x = -2

so value of x = -2 and 3/2
