given 2x^2 -x/2= 0
=>4x^2-x= 0 (since 2 was in denominator so if it goes that side then it will be multipiled by 0 which is 0)
here
a=4,b=-1 and c= 0
now
d = b^2 - 4 ac
=>d = (-1)^2 - ( 4*4*0)
=> d = 1 - 0
=>d = 1
now x= (-b+ root d) / 2a = (1 +1)/8 = 1/4
and x = (-b-rootd )/2a=(1-1)/8 = 0/8=0
=>4x^2-x= 0 (since 2 was in denominator so if it goes that side then it will be multipiled by 0 which is 0)
