Step-by-step explanation:

2 {x}^{2} - 4x - 30 = 0 \\ 2( {x}^{2} - 2x - 15 ) = 0 \\ \\ {x}^{2} - 2x - 15 = 0 \\ \\ {x }^{2} - 5x + 3x - 15 = 0 \\ \\ x(x - 5) + 3(x - 5) = 0 \\ (x + 3)(x - 5) = 0 \\ \\ \\ as \: by \: solving \: the \: equation \: we \\ \\ x1 = - 3 \\ x2 = 5

If u r satisfied with this answer then pls mark me as brainliest as a favour by u to me

Thanq & nice to answer u

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

2x^2-4x-30=0

Divide both sides by 2 (÷2)

X^2-2X-15=0

Now this is as Ax^2-Bx-C=0

A:1,B:(-2),C:(-15)

Now A×C=1×-15

-15 which can be expressed as -3×5/3×-5

Since B=(-2),it can be spilt /factorise by 3×-5

Now the equation will be

X^2+3X-5X-15=0

Take common factors

X(X+3) -5(X+3)=0

(X+3) (X-5)=0

(X+3)=0 (X-5)=0

X=(-3)/(+5)

Hence factorised.
