EXPLANATION.

Equation = 2y - 3x = 2.

Put x = 0 in equation, we get,

⇒ 2y - 3(0) = 2.

⇒ 2y = 2.

⇒ y = 1

Their Co-ordinates are = (0,1).

put y = 0 in equation, we get,

⇒ 2(0) - 3x = 2.

⇒ - 3x = 2.

⇒ x = -2/3.

⇒ x = - 0.6667.

Their Co-ordinates are = (-0.6667,0).

MORE INFORMATION.

Area of triangle.

(1) = 1/2 [x₁ (y₂ - y₃) + x₂ (y₃ - y₁) + x₃ (y₁ - y₂)].

(2) = Δ = 1/2 [r₁r₂ sin(∅₂ - ∅₁) + r₂r₃ sin(∅₃ - ∅₂) + r₃r₁ sin(∅₁ - ∅₃)].

(3) = Area of Equilateral triangle = ( a²√3/4).

(4) = if area of a triangle is zero, then the points are collinear.
