\huge{\underline{\mathtt{\red{S}\pink{O}\green{L}\blue{U}\purple{T}\orange{I}\pink{O}\red{N ᭄}}}}

\implies\sf{2y +  \frac{5}{3}  =  \frac{26}{3}  - y}

\implies\sf{2y +  \frac{5}{3}  =  - y +  \frac{26}{3} }

  • Subtract 5\3 from both sides of the equation.

\implies\sf{2y +  \frac{5}{3}  -  \frac{5}{3}  =  - y +  \frac{26}{3}  -  \frac{5}{3}}

\implies\sf{2y =  - y + 7}

  • Add to both sides of the equation

\implies\sf{2y + y =  - y + 7 + y}

\implies\sf{3y = 7}

  • Divide both sides of the equation by the same term.

\implies\sf{ \frac{3y}{3}  =  \frac{7}{3}}

\implies\sf{y =  \frac{7}{3}}

\bf{\underline{Sol^{n}::}}

2y\:+\:\dfrac{5}{3}=\dfrac{26}{3} \:- \:y

2y\:+\:y=\dfrac{26}{3} \:- \:\dfrac{5}{3}

3y=\dfrac{21}{3}

3y=7

y=\dfrac{7}{3}

Hope it helps..♪
