Answer: x=2 and y=6

Step-by-step explanation:

HERE 2y=6x -----> y=3x------equation 1st

y=2x+2-------eqn 2nd

on substituting eqn 1st on 2nd.We get,

3x=2x+2

=3x-2x=2

=x=2

on putting value of x in 1st eqn. We get

y=3*2=6

HENCE, VALUE OF x AND y IS 2 AND 6 RESPECTIVELY.
