Answer:

x = 0    y = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

Let it be equation no . (i)   2y +8x = 0

   multiply equation (i) by 4

                We get, 8y + 32x = 0

Let it be equation no. (ii)    8y -2x = 0

Subtracts (i) - (ii)

         8y + 32x - (8y - 2x) = 0

         8y + 32x - 8y + 2x = 0

                    34x = 0

                        x = 0

Putting x = 0 in equation (ii)

     8y - 2(0) = 0

     y = 0
